BATIDA
Pronounced bah-CHEE-dah, the Batida is a Brazilian classic. A cheeky twist on a Pina Colada.
Makes 1 drink - increase QTY for more fun!
60 ml Husk Pure Cane Spirit (classically you would use Cachaca, but were in Aus, so keeping it local)
30 ml passionfruit pulp, strained for syrup only (reserve the passionfruit seeds for garnish)
15 ml coconut milk
15 ml freshly squeezed lime juice
3⁄4 cup ice
Garnish
Toasted coconut
Reserved passionfruit pulp
Step 1. Add the ice, Husk Pure Cane Spirit, passionfruit syrup, coconut milk, and lime juice to a blender.
Blitz until smooth.
Step 2. Rim a short glass with lime juice, then roll through toasted coconut to coat the rim.
Step 3. Pour the batida into the glass. Garnish with passionfruit pulp and serve with a straw.
